As we've all seen in the news, we all are navigating some less than ideal headlines about air travel in the US this week.

We are of course keeping a close eye on the situation and want to share a few updates, including to refund policy.
  • Most of the presenters, sponsors, and attendees of the summit who are flying this week are reporting overall smooth travels
  • The total amount of delays as of this writing are similar to severe weather events that the flight system routinely handles
  • We do not want anyone to get stuck with the full cost of a conference ticket when a cancelled flight prevented them from attending and have updated our refund policy to reflect this
Refund Policy Update
1. Refund for flight cancellation due to government shutdown exemption.

Due to the extended US government shut down, if you miss the conference due to a cancelled flight we will provide a refund equal to 70% of your ticket cost. 

We are unable to offer full refunds as an independent small business due to committed per person costs, and we thank you for your commitment to improving the industry's work with heat pumps..

We ask you provide sufficient proof of the canceled flight and inability to rebook through an affected airport to contact@usheatpumpsummit.com. We are humans, not a mega corporation, just let us know what happened.

We will process refunds in a reasonable amount of time after the event.
