Ed Janowiak is the Manager of HVAC Design Education at the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), bringing over 35 years of expertise in the HVAC industry. With a solid foundation of more than 15 years in hands-on fieldwork and over 25 years in the classroom, Ed effectively bridges the gap between practical experience and education.
As a recognized subject matter expert, Ed has contributed to the development of several industry standards and certification tests for leading organizations like ACCA, NATE, and BPI. In his current role, he serves as a full-time trainer, develops curriculum, writes technical content, and provides guidance to the HVAC community.
Ed is also an active participant in multiple ASHRAE technical committees, including 62.2, 4.1, 221, and 5.2, where he helps shape the future of the HVAC industry. He holds a Master HVACR license in New Jersey, underscoring his deep commitment to the field.
